Outdoor Burning

There are no current burn restrictions in unincorporated lands regulated by Lewis County.

A permit is required for all open burning, with the exception of campfires up to 3' in diameter. The burning of garbage, paper or other refuse is strictly prohibited at all times.

You may obtain a permit online by clicking the button below, you will need to be able to print your permit. Or you may stop by the main station during regular business hours and we will assist you in obtaining your permit.
