The table lists the type of calls we receive and the occurrence count for each type.

• Medical covers any call that involves an EMS crew responding for medical help where the patient was either transported, declined transport, or was left with specific instructions.

• MVA's are any motor vehicle accident where response required an engine and an aid unit, extrication, or traffic protection measures.

• Fire includes all fires such as vehicles, homes, property, or vegetation when fire apparatus were required for extinguishment.

• Patient Assist covers non-medical calls for assistance.

• Mutual Aid includes response to other neighboring agencies as defined by the mutual aid agreement. This allows us to provide or receive help and resources when demand exceeds personnel or available resources.

• Cancel covers erroneous activation or other cancellations of our response once already notified of an emergency.

• Total lists all calls combined for the given year.

• Medical Transports specifically shows the amount of patient contacts that required or requested transport to a receiving hospital.
